In recognition of two anniversaries, BIRD TALK'S 25th and Avian Fashion's 10th, the Bird Talk editors will be publishing 10 photos in our March 2007 special travel issue of birds on the go with their owners. Photos could show birds on a play date at your neighbor's house, in an RV, at the beach, at a wedding or graduation celebration, on a plane - wherever you've brought your avian friends! (We will not accept photos of birds outdoors unless they are confined to a carrier, cage or harness/leash. Even birds with their wing feathers trimmed have flown away and disappeared forever.)

Winners will receive an exclusive FlightSuit Gift Pack from Avian Fashions (888-412-POOP or http://www.bird-diaper.com/), makers of the patented FlightSuit or "Bird Diaper." Please submit in-focus photos where the bird is the main subject. The best photos will show a happy, safe bird enjoying "Get up & Go" time outside of its usual environment.

There are two ways to submit photos:

-Prints from a 35mm camera (4x6 or 5x7 is preferred). No digital prints, please.

-Please submit digital photos via CD or DVD. Files should be either in JPEG or TIFF format. All digital images must be high-resolution (300 dpi) and at least 4x3 inches or they are unusable. If you are unsure of what what this means, please consult your local photo store or submit a print from a regular camera.

Each entry must include the owner(s)' names, the bird(s)' name(s) and species, as well as a telephone number and/or e-mail address. Please also include a brief (3 to 5 sentences) description of what is taking place in the photo. If you would like your photos returned, please include an appropriate SASE.
